Nutrition and Covid-19

Corona. Covid-19. Pandemic. Rt numbers. Flatten the curve. Socially distance. Self-isolate. Quarantine. Super Spreader.


New words. New reality. New world. And now, more than ever before, we depend on our immune systems to see us through. There is no vaccine. There is no approved course of treatment. So it is up to us. Each one of us.


It is our responsibility to ensure that our immune systems are functioning at an optimal level in order to protect ourselves, our family, our friends and our community from this sickness. This dis-ease is no match for an optimally functioning immune system.



But what does that mean? What is an optimally functioning immune system after all? And how can each one of us ensure that we have one?
