This discussion was the fifth in a series which endeavored to encourage, inform and support those who are plant curious, plant centric or those who are currently living a plant-based lifestyle. There is always more to learn when we all come together as a community to share struggles, solutions, tips, hacks and above all, ideas and knowledge. We do this in a respectful and loving community with our various Community Clubs and Programs at 6D Living.




Our discussion focused on what we have learned over the years of living this lifestyle about what matters the most – the key to success – and that is PREPARATION!

Preparation indeed does beat motivation for you can be highly motivated but if you cannot act on that motivation, it will be difficult to sustain for very long.


Motivation is an idea. It is an idea which is not to be underestimated, not by any means. Approaching these lifestyle changes requires a strong motivator – and that motivator lives in our minds. It is the force that reminds us to stay the course, focus on our ‘why’ and commit to loving ourselves.

 

Preparation is action. It is preparing your environment to encourage good habits and easy access to those super foods, you know, the plants! Moreover, good preparation allows us to more easily get a variety of plants, flavors and textures into each meal. We are looking forward to sharing with you how we prepare our environments so that we can ensure a clean and healthy lifestyle.


As we know, consuming a diversity of plants is our goal for improving our health and wellness and with so many from which to choose, it can become a bit overwhelming. Especially when the headlines keep pushing ‘superfoods’ as if they have discovered a new world! All plants are superfoods – so if we can a diverse variety of plants, we too will be SUPER! We are looking forward to sharing how we get our super foods each day!
