This discussion was the seventh, and final, in a series which endeavored to encourage, inform and support those who are plant curious, plant centric or those who are currently living a plant-based lifestyle. There is always more to learn when we all come together as a community to share struggles, solutions, tips, hacks and above all, ideas and knowledge. We do this in a respectful and loving community with our various Community Clubs and Programs at 6D Living.

On Tuesday, April 30th were live with some very special guests. As this was our final show in this series, we thought that it was time for us all to hear from the community and what this lifestyle has done for them. We invited five spectacular people who have experienced profound changes in their lives after adopting a more plant-based lifestyle. We were honored and grateful for their authenticity in sharing their stories with us all.

Kathy Taylor

Kathy is a graduate of the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. She switched from a SAD diet to plant-based and has since lost over 200 pounds and removed 14 medications from her life. Kathy has completed multiple Book Clubs & Modified Fasting Programs with 6D.

 

Kathy now moderates a variety of 6D Book & Video Club groups of her own. Moreover, she is the Guide for our WFPB Boot Camp. Her love for learning and experience with living this lifestyle make her a compassionate guide on the journey towards optimal health.

Affan Kermani

Affan is a US tax professional within the financial services industry. He survived Polio as an infant of twenty-eight days in the early seventies. Esther Loveridge

Back in July 2016, at the age of 72, I weighed 257 pounds and was having considerable knee pain which hindered my ability to travel, so I went in to see my doctor and discuss what might be done to help. After looking at the x-rays, my doctor informed me that my knees were almost bone on bone, but he could not even refer me to orthopedics for possible knee replacements until I lost 70 pounds. In 1997, I saw a very prominent doctor, who specialized in Weight Management. He told me the following: “It would take herculean efforts for me to ever lose weight and to maintain that weight loss.” Well, needless to say, his comments affected me mentally, physically and emotionally.
