This activity is a way for you to practice self-reflection and to clarify what you believe on a variety of topics. You can practice this over and over again to gain new insights as you mature and gain wisdom.
Today let's begin by exploring our beliefs about nutrition. As with all beliefs, these are personal and deeply rooted in our past. Exploring what we think about our food can help us to make better, wiser choices for the life we wish to live.
How do you approach the subject of nutrition? How do you approach your food? Which foods do you focus on for your health? Which foods do you focus on for your pleasure? Where did you learn these ideas? Which elements (religious, financial, emotional, etc.) in your life have impacted your nutritional choices of today and how?
All good questions for a little self-reflection and honesty about our nutritional choices and our beliefs surrounding food. Take a few moments now to pause and spend some time thinking about your relationship with food. Time to be honest with yourself.
Later (at the end of this post!) we can explore other areas of our lives as well.
