About the event
The Happiness Advantage by Shawn Achor will meet once weekly beginning in January 2024 for eight weeks. This book club will meet every Thursday (beginning 11 January 2024) for eight weeks.
MEETINGS ARE AT 5:00pm PST - 8:00pm EST
Though participants are not required to attend meetings each week, due to limited spaces in each group, please ensure the meeting day/time chosen suits your schedule. We would ask that all participants be able to attend most of the meetings, thank you.

About our book!
We’ve been taught that if we work hard, we will be successful, and then we’ll be happy. If we can just find that great job, get a raise, lose those five pounds, happiness will follow. But recent discoveries in the field of positive psychology have shown that this formula is actually backward: happiness fuels success, not the other way around. About the author!
Shawn is the New York Times best-selling author of The Happiness Advantage and Big Potential. His Happiness Advantage training is one of the largest and most successful positive psychology corporate training programs in the world.
Shawn’s research has been published in the top psychology journal for work he did at UBS in partnership with Yale University to transform how stress impacts the body. He also did a two-part series with Oprah at her house to discuss his mission to bring positive psychology to the world.
About the moderator!
Kathy is a graduate of the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies with eCornell University. Kathy switched from a SAD diet to plant-based and has since lost over 200 pounds and removed 14 medications from her life. Kathy has completed multiple Modified Fasting Programs with 6D and this will be Kathy's second book as moderator. Kathy is a knowledgeable and experienced guide on the journey towards optimal health.
